Through workshops, a podcast, and one-on-one coaching, I work with aspiring founders at the intersection of personal development, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Based in Porto. Working with people from everywhere.
Workshops for aspiring founders who are ready to act on their idea. Grounded in seven years of research on how founders build something people believe in.
See the workshops →Monthly conversations on personal development, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Practitioners and founders talking about what building something actually looks like.
Listen to episodes →Startup founders working on brand strategy, value proposition, and go-to-market positioning through North Star Advisors. For people who want to work directly with Marco.
Work with me →On the 17th of July, sixteen people will spend an afternoon at The Social Hub Porto facing the question most founders avoid for years.
What am I building? Who is it for? Why does it matter?
Three and a half hours of structured, hands-on work. Everything produced in the room leaves with you.
Heitor Benfeito, Managing Director at Critical Ventures, will share what investors look for in an early-stage founder. This is knowledge most founders never get until they are already in a pitch room.
We close with a sunset drink at the Social Hub Rooftop Pool and Bar. Porto in July. Golden hour. The people who built something with you today.
Register together and both pay €79, whatever tier the workshop is in. Contact Marco directly.
My name is Marco Bagheri. I am an academic, a practitioner, and an immigrant who has lived and worked across four countries.
I hold a PhD in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Minho. I spent seven years studying one question: why do some founders build something people genuinely believe in, while others with equally good ideas never gain traction?
I teach at ISAG-European Business School and IPAM Porto. I coach startup founders through North Star Advisors on brand strategy and early-stage positioning.
Values Beyond Time, the workshops and the podcast, is the answer to the question my own failures first made me ask.
One of the things I appreciated most was how approachable Marco is. He has a lot of experience, and he explains things in a very practical, easy-to-understand way. He is always available for his students. Whether during class or afterwards, he listens, answers questions, and helps people move forward with their ideas. If you are looking for someone who combines experience, energy, and genuine support, I can definitely recommend Professor Marco.
Marco is one of the most passionate, positive, and practical people I have ever met. He brings a wealth of experience, both lived and academic, grounded in kindness and a real care for the people who trust him. He genuinely cares about impact, change, and encouraging all those around him to show up as their best.
Personal development, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Not theory. Lived experience from people who are building something real.
